Cruising into Easter Fun: An Unforgettable Easter Car Show in Midland, TX!

What a day! We just rolled out from the Easter Egg Hunt Car Show in downtown Midland, TX, held at Centennial Park thanks to Texas Stock Rally. The place was absolutely buzzing with incredible rides – a fantastic mix of classics, exotics, and some seriously cool modern builds. And, of course, tons of excited kids eagerly awaiting the Easter Egg Hunt!

To capture all the high-octane excitement of the car show and the quick-paced Easter Egg Hunt, we brought along our trusty Sony A7 IV camera paired with Sony’s f4 28-135mm power zoom lens. This lens is a game-changer, being one of the few full-frame options with both power zoom and built-in image stabilization for video production. We figured it was the perfect choice to keep up with all the action and capture every thrilling moment.

For capturing both the sleek lines of the cars and the exciting rush of the Easter egg hunt at Centennial Park in downtown Midland, Texas, we needed a setup that could deliver steady, clear video. The goal was to get stable shots of the vehicles and also zoom in on the kids as they eagerly grabbed for eggs on the grassy hill. You can really see how much we zoomed in on all the action in the video.
