We’re from West, Texas!
Lightning Bilt Creative Studio is based out of Odessa, Texas. West Texas is big and we know it. Ranging from Farming, Ranching, Energy, Education, and Tourism; there’s opportunities for new and old businesses to succeed.
About Us and History
Lightning Bilt Creative Studio was founded in 2016 but the “Business of Creating” has been happening for a far longer time.
The owner, Ben Raigoza
Since 1997, Ben Raigoza (owner & creative director) has created and sold original artwork. Some of which included custom graphic designs and logos. Ben also photographed businesses and events. And for a while, worked as a music DJ playing in clubs/bars in and around Odessa, Texas. The “Hustle” is strong!
While taking Art classes, Ben bought a computer. Figured out how to build a website and host it on his own computer to save money and promote his art online. “Being online is the future,” was a favorite saying.
Not only did Ben self-taught how to hand code custom websites, he eventually worked at a local college maintaining their websites. Not only had Ben already started researching CMS software and webhosting, he was offering websites to friends and customers. Eventually, Ben would work in a community college committee to recommend they replace their aging website structure with a CMS (content management system). This would save time on annual updates for various departments.

In recent years, the exponential growth of modern websites using responsive designs that scaled down elegantly from a desktop to a mobile phone have provided great business opportunities.
Lightning Bilt Creative Studio was officially launched November 2016. In the last few years, we have had the opportunity to work with great clients. On websites we have built, we started offering in-house photography services for their business.
Today, we offer graphic design, web design, photography and video production services.
